Nude nails with Nails Inc

This blog used to be called Laura's Nail Art Ideas 2 years ago. I love nail varnishes and I have quite a collection of them now ranging from so many different brands! Out of all the brands of nail varnishes I have tried, Nails Inc is one of my favourites! I find it glides on my nails perfectly and I can get away with using one coat, but I like to use two coats to get a slightly stronger colour. I find it lasts a week on my nails with no or minor chips which is great for those who do not have much time to spend on their nails.

I have had my Basil Street nail varnish for over a year, maybe 2 years, and the formula is completely fine. The bottle I have contains 10ml which is the same as Barry M and Seventeen. This is Nails Inc's shade Basil Street. It is described on their website as a "latte nude nail polish".  It is a beautiful brown shade which I think compliments my paler skin tone very well.

Unfortunately from the research I have done, it is tricky to buy. It is available here from Nails Inc's website, but only as a part of a set of 10 nail varnishes, the pastel collection, which is reduced to £21.00, making each nail varnish £2.10, a bargain! I have also found it on the Boots website for £7.37 but it is out of stock.

Nails Inc now have a new packaging which is slightly bigger at 14ml and sold on both the boots website and Nails Inc website for £14-£15 depending on the shade. This is expensive for a nail varnish, I am a student and can understand that £14 can pay for a lot of food! But if you have a favourite colour and fancy to treat yourself, I would highly recommend Nails Inc!

Have you tried Nails Inc or would like to? Let me know below!

  1. Nails Inc are my favourite polishes, just under Barry M. I do love them but because they're so expensive I only have a couple whereas Barry M take the top spot because they're much more affordable! I completely agree with you though, the formula is great and they always take ages to chip :)

  3. I've never tried nails inc but one a polish I do recommend is the new Avon gel finish range. Much cheaper than going to a salon for a gel coat on and there's so many fab colours! Usually my polish chips but the gel finish range has been great! x

    1. I love OPI too, I have a couple of their crackle top coats and have always wanted to try more! I would say Nail Inc is similar to OPI, think you would like it if you was able to try it! x
