Makeup Revolution ultra all day prime and anti-shine balm

I was lucky enough to win this Makeup Revolution ultra all day prime and anti-shine balm along with Makeup Revolution's hard day salvation palette a few other pieces. I have nearly used up this product, which can be seen in the pictures. Someone needs to remind me to take pictures before nearly using up a product!

By the fact I have nearly used it up, you can probably guess I really like this product! It can be bought here or from Superdrug. This retails at £5 which is how much I paid for my previous primer before using this. As with Makeup Revolution products, I love the rose gold on black and the case does not feel like it will break. As regular readers know, I love a mirror and this has a great sized mirror, which is good if other products do not have a mirror. I find using this product gives me a great base to apply my make up on too, and appears to reduce the redness from my rosacea, so I use less foundation to cover it up!

I only use this as a primer, I have used this once as a substitute for powder, but I do prefer using a brush and powder. The product works fine as an alternative to powder but I find the consistency of the product better to be used as a primer, as I find it better to apply it with the sponge provided. This is a thicker consistency to what I have used in the past. I was unsure at first whether I liked it, but the more I used it and used the sponge the more I liked it! I have been using it a lot, as you can see in the pictures. The only negative I have is the mirror gets smeared by the sponge as can be seen above, this could be fixed by me leaving the sponge out but I would prefer to keep it with the balm.

I am so glad I won this, because I may have not tried it and would have missed out on a fantastic product. I will be repurchasing this along with a few pieces of theirs I would like to try. I think it is great value for money as well as being a great base for my make up. Have you tried any Makeup Revolution products?
