Superdrug haul

I had to get a few bits and pieces from Superdrug and I thought I might as well treat myself to some extras! I have started using some of these bits so I will talk a little about them as I go along!

Superdrug haul

Firstly something arguably a little boring, the Gillette Simply Venus disposable razors. These were reduced on the Superdrug website to a little over £1 which for a packet of 4 razors, is really good. They have the little moisturising strip which I do prefer to have on a razor, I have used one of these so far and I have no complaints, a really solid disposable razor and I would happily buy them again!

Next is the grey and blue can, this is blue hair chalk spray. I have reviewed the Body Shop's blue hair chalk  over a year ago and I loved the idea of putting colour into your hair for just a day. I have tried it once and I found the spray difficult to use, so I will continue to experiment with it and get back to you!

Next are the Tanya Burr cosmetics nail varnishes. You may notice the packaging differences. The red one is the older packaging and only cost me £1.50 which is a bargain, the pink one cost £4.99 and I have already had a first look of it here.

Next is the Baylis & Harding candle. I did not even know Superdrug sold candles but this was reduced to £1.50 which for the size of the candle, is another bargain! It is supposed to smell of sweet mandarin and grape fruit. I have lit it twice and I honestly cannot tell you what it smells of, it is a sweet fruity scent, I like the scent but I am unsure if they work together.

Superdrug face masks

Next are 3 Superdrug face masks, these were in a 3 for 2 offer, so I had to buy 3 really! I have used the one on the right and really enjoyed using it, I was really stressed out and had a small pamper to calm me down! I also was able to snap chat a couple of funny pictures wearing the face masks, does anyone else do this?!

Make up revolution atomic serpent

I purchased a green lipstick in the shade atomic serpent. I was talking to a friend about this lipstick and after not being able to find it in Superdrug, I bought it with the online shop! I thought it would be fun with Halloween coming up! I am not sure if I can pull it off but at £1, I think it is great fun

Finally I bought Zoella beauty's fresh fizz fragranced bath fizzers. I am a big fan of her range, I have bought her body scrub from the new range, the body lotion and soak opera from her first range and have enjoyed using all 3 products with them being solid buys on the high street. But I have heard a lot of bad things about these bath fizzers. I do understand why some people are disappointed with them, but they are not sold as bath bombs, they are fizzers and they do exactly what a fizzer should!

Hope you have enjoyed reading this haul post! There will be posts about most of the items here in the upcoming weeks. Let me know if you have used any of these products or what would you like to try!

  1. Hey lovely!

Great post and you picked up some goodies!! You so suit this lip colour and I definitely couldn't pull it off, haha! I've still not tried anything from Zoella's Range but I'm a huge fan of the Tanya Burr lip glosses so I need to try a polish sometime. I really like Superdrug's face mask and there is one that I'm sure is white chocolate and it is AMAZING!!

    Love your blog.,

    1. I really like her make up bags but I have so many already, there is little reason to buy more! I really like her body scrub but it is a little on the thick side for a scrub! Yeah I am the same haha, for £1 I don't mind if I just use it for the odd photo! thank you for reading xx

    1. What colours did you buy? I am really liking the face masks, I used the berry one today and it is really good! I think Zoella's range is pretty good for the money, the scrub costs £7 which is pretty good for a body scrub, I also liked the soak opera, makes loads of bubbles in the bath, cannot remember how much it cost, but I would recommend those! xx

    1. Haha very true! Just think people were expecting it to be more of a bath bomb when fizzers just fizz around a little and produce a scent, thank you for reading! xx
