LUSH haul Autumn 2015

Moving to university means student nights. As well as the clubbing student nights, the town centre in Luton had one where many shops were offering discounts or free goody bags when you spend a certain amount. LUSH Luton were offering a free goody bag when you spent £20 or more. Since I only have a shower now I thought it would be a great time to try items I have never bought before. I ended up spending nearly £30 on 5 items!

LUSH haul 2015

Firstly are 2 of the new shower jellies. Night wing is a part of LUSH's Halloween range and is shaped like a bat! I have never used a shower jelly before but I am looking forward to trying night wing as it smells of blackcurrant! The scent is different to the comforter as you are able to smell lime giving a lovely berry, citrus scent! The other shower jelly is called snowman and as you can guess, it looks like a cute snowman! This is a part of LUSH's huge Christmas range. Snowman has a more fruity, sweet scent which is not one you would not associate with Christmas but it contains my favourite scent, lemon, which is really uplifting!

Next are the shampoo and conditioner. These are available in LUSH all year round. I really wanted to try some of LUSH's hair products and I chose fairly traded honey shampoo and American dream conditioner. The shampoo smells of a really sickly honey which I do not like, but feels really good on the hair! American dream smells of vanilla and strawberry and again it leaves my hair feeling so soft and conditioned. As you get so little in the bottle I will use these sparingly as a treat!

Lastly is the don't look at me face mask. This face mask is bright blue and like the snowman shower jelly, contains lemon. Don't look at me is a fresh face mask which means it must stay in the fridge, which makes it feel so cooling on the skin when using it. The wonderful staff at LUSH Luton helped me choose this as it is great for combination skin.

That was my miniature LUSH haul for Autumn 2015. If I am able to go home for Christmas I will be picking up some of their bath bombs! The goody bag I received is really good, I am thinking of doing a blog post about it as there are quite a few bits to show you! Let me know if you have tried any of the products above, I love hearing what you all think plus any recommendations!

  2. I'd love to see what you got in the goodie bag! I've used American Cream before but really didn't like it, hopefully it works better for you! I really like their shower jellies, they're so much fun even if they can be difficult to use sometimes!

  4. The Snowman shower jelly is so cute and smells better than I thought! I bought a solid conditioner from Lush in the summer and it's ruined now for some reason so I may have to try the American Cream. I know Lauren uses it and it has the same scent as my conditioner bar anyway so it might be better for me! -R xxx

    1. Yeah it does smell really good! How odd, think I will stick to the liquid conditioners, I really get on with the conditioner, maybe steal some of Lauren's and see how you get on with it :p (don't tell her I said that!) xxx

  5. Thank you for sending me your link!
I'm sure if you follow me on Twitter you know that I just can't stand the word LUSH but the more i read these reviews the more i'm tempted to get over the cringe and try some of their products. The way you write is so relative to your readers :)

    Much love,

    1. There are some products I do not like but for someone who has sensitive skin as well as a skin condition, I have never had a bad reaction to their products so they are generally a very solid buy, let me know if you do ever try anything, the staff are very helpful :) x
