No bake 3 ingredient Easter bark

Hello everyone, time for something a bit different on this blog, my first ever recipe! I was looking on Pinterest, as I always do, and I came across this recipe. The main issue was in the U.K, I struggled to buy different coloured marshmallows. Unlike the recipe, I did not use any shortening, making this just a 3 ingredient recipe!

Mani Monday George Manicure

Hello everyone! I was doing my food shop in ASDA recently and I saw their nail polishes had £0.75 off, making them only £1; I thought it would be rude to not pop one in my trolley. There was not the biggest selection of colours left, they have been very popular, but a manicure colour caught my eye.

February favourites

Hello everyone, we are now in March, I swear Christmas was not that long ago! I don't like to do a favourites post every month, my favourites do not tend to change that often. But this month I have quite a few products I have been reaching out for and I thought I would write a favourites post!

Champneys energising lime foaming body scrub

Hello everyone we are going back to body scrubs. I have tried many from the high street including Zoella's Scrubbing Me Softly and the Body Shop's sweet lemon scrub I put into a favourites post last year. I bought this along with another Champney's body scrub as Boots had them reduced by 75% to £2.50 each!

The Lush tag!

Hello everyone! I was tagged by Lulu from LushUponATime and Kimberley from TheColourChronicles to do the Lush tag! Thank you both for tagging me! I do love Lush products but I do tend to stick to the same products, this tag post made me realise I need to try out so many more products! I added some of my favourite Lush pictures I have taken, I especially love taking pictures of bath bombs!

Mani Monday - Claire's Cosmetics

Hello everyone this Mani Monday features a brand that I often forget does make up and nail polish and is not featured much here; it is Claire's Accessories. Many years ago I got my ear pierced in Claire's Accessories and it is a shop I mainly associate with jewellery. A little while ago I bought some nail polishes in there when they had a sale, they only cost me 50p each instead of the £2.25 which they normally retail at.

Spending Valentine's day alone

Hello everyone! It is that time of year when shops are full of bunched of flowers and boxes of chocolates as well as the Valentine's day cards and balloons. This will be the first time in 7 years I will be single for Valentine's day. I am a firm believer that if you are in a relationship, you should tell them and show them you love them every single day, not once a year, but I also do like the idea of Valentine's day, I cannot really explain it.

LUSH Don't Look At Me Fresh Face Mask

I am a massive fan of face masks, but I have always used the packet ones, I always use about half and get annoyed I have to throw the rest of it away. I thought I would try a fresh face mask from LUSH, this meant I was able to apply what I need then put it in the fridge without worrying about not using the rest!

Mani Monday Barry M Sparkling Ruby limited edition

Hello everyone, today's Mani Monday features this gorgeous limited edition shade by Barry M. This shade was free from Superdrug when, if I remember correctly, you spent £6 or more on Barry M products. I was buying Christmas presents for a couple of my blogging friends and despite what it said on the shelf, I did not spend enough to get it for free, so I paid full price for it, £3.99.

Time to Talk Day

Hello everyone, today (Thursday 4th February 2016) is Time to Talk Day. Time to Talk Day aims to end the stigma and misconceptions related to mental health. This is a post I have wanted to write for a very long time, but I am always worried about upsetting those who care about me, because they know little or nothing about my mental health. In this post I will be discussing my depression, self harm, suicidal thoughts and committing suicide. I have pictures of my self harm but there will be no pictures in this blog post, it will be just me rambling on. If this post makes one person feel less alone or helps in any single way, that would really make me happy.  If this is a post that does not interest you or may be upsetting and distressing to read, I have many other blog posts you can read.

Sweet haul chocolate sticks from around the world

When I went into London last year with my flat mate, we both bought lots of sweets from around the world! This is part 2 of my sweets haul, looking at chocolate sticks! In the United Kingdom the most common chocolate stick is Mikado, which I have featured for comparison not because I was hungry..

Mani Monday - Sally Hansen gel strips

Hello everyone! Yesterday I went into my local Poundworld and saw these Sally Hansen salon insta gel strips. I could hardly say no to this bargain! I got mine in the dog tooth (440 bonus check). I noticed that it states you need a LED lamp, luckily I have a LED lamp from when I was sent a starter kit from United beauty to try, which can be seen here. For those who do not have a LED lamp, they can use the strips with a clear top coat, which is exactly what I did with most of my nails!

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Carnival Nights nail polish

As I mentioned in my Tanya Burr Cosmetics advent calendar post, there were 2 exclusive nail polishes, Under The Sea and this one, Carnival Nights. Carnival Nights is my favourite out of the 2 nail polishes. It is a beautiful purple shade with lots of different coloured pieces of glitter. This makes this nail polish perfect for the Christmas and parties!

New Year's Resolutions 2016!

New Years Resolutions 2016

Happy New year everyone! It is that time of year where we reflect back on the previous year at what we did *or did not* achieve. 2016 is going to be a very important year for me as I leave university and will head into the real world! I am not one for writing any New Year's resolutions as generally I fail them, but this year I am going to make them more realistic and I thought I would share them with you!
