Mani Monday Barry M Sparkling Ruby limited edition

Hello everyone, today's Mani Monday features this gorgeous limited edition shade by Barry M. This shade was free from Superdrug when, if I remember correctly, you spent £6 or more on Barry M products. I was buying Christmas presents for a couple of my blogging friends and despite what it said on the shelf, I did not spend enough to get it for free, so I paid full price for it, £3.99.

For those like me who use Barry M a lot, the formula is very similar with their different ranges, but this is different. The consistency is thicker and heavier then their other ranges. This allows amazing coverage and no streaking on the nails. You could get away with using just 1 coat, but for that extra bit of sparkle, I used 2 coats.

Despite being a thicker nail polish, I found it dries really quickly, which is great if you are in a hurry. This polish lasted 5 days on my nails with 1 small chip without a top coat, this could last for a week with a clear top coat of nail polish.

The only problem with this nail polish is that the glitter is slightly stubborn to remove. Luckily the pieces of glitter are fairly fine, I found that soaking my nail for a few seconds with nail polish remover on a cotton wool pad really helps!

I really love this nail polish and if you like a sparkly nail polish, I would definitely give this a look, there is a second shade called sparkling amethyst. Have you tried Barry M nail polishes? Let me know and I am always looking for nail polish recommendations!

  1. I swear by Barry M's nail paints. I find that they are the best budget nail polishes available. Their speedy quick dry range is really good and so is their gelly range.

This colour is beautiful, I love the fine shimmery glitter effect. x
