Mani Monday George Manicure

Hello everyone! I was doing my food shop in ASDA recently and I saw their nail polishes had £0.75 off, making them only £1; I thought it would be rude to not pop one in my trolley. There was not the biggest selection of colours left, they have been very popular, but a manicure colour caught my eye.

Mani Monday George Manicure

I have only ever once had a manicure colour in my collection, that was thrown away some time ago due to drying out. This nail polish is in the shade 62, base coat. It is a great shade to create a classic manicure with white tips.

For £1 I am so impressed with this nail polish, even at £1.75, it is a bargain! The bottle is solid and George manicure is printed on the bottle, some more expensive nail polishes use stickers, it really shows quality. 5ml of product is a little on the low side, but again, for £1 what do you expect?

The formula itself is surprisingly good, it takes a little while to dry and I did find with 2 coats, there was streaking present, but nothing a third coat did not fix! The nail polish has lasted well on my nails with minimal chipping. The brush is a nice shape and does not moult, but I find the lid is very large, probably to look like you are getting more for your money.

Overall whether you pay £1 or £1.75, I doubt you will be disappointed. This easily competes with other nail polishes around the £2 or £3 mark. Have you tried supermarket branded nail polishes?
