No bake 3 ingredient Easter bark

Hello everyone, time for something a bit different on this blog, my first ever recipe! I was looking on Pinterest, as I always do, and I came across this recipe. The main issue was in the U.K, I struggled to buy different coloured marshmallows. Unlike the recipe, I did not use any shortening, making this just a 3 ingredient recipe!

All you will need is white chocolate, miniature marshmallows (you could also cut up some bigger marshmallows) and some sprinkles, even these are optional, but bring some extra colour to the Easter bark! I did not use the measurements provided, I "eye balled it" but I used 200g of white chocolate with about 80-90g of marshmallows and just a handful of sprinkles to finish, but you can adapt the measurements for your own preference. You will also need a microwavable bowl, a spoon, a tray that is lined with butter or parchment paper.

Firstly you will need to melt the white chocolate, I did this in a microwave, I put the microwave on full power for 1 minute and used the residue heat to melt the remaining chocolate. Once melted, I left the chocolate to cool for a few minutes

The next step is to put the marshmallows into the melted white chocolate and to stir until the mixture is well combined. I was lucky enough to have a friend donate some Lucky Charms cereal to me, which contains different coloured marshmallows, so I added them in too!

Once combined, I greased on oven tray and poured the mixture in, levelling it out with a spoon. Next is to put some sprinkles on the mixture for colour and put it in the fridge to set.

I left the mixture over night in the fridge and in the morning I used a sharp knife to cut it into squares.

That is it, it is as simple as that! I would love to know what you think of the Easter bark and whether you are making any Easter treats!
